The LOTA sofa, designed by Eileen Gray, produced by Classicon in Munich. Sofa with black lacquered armrests, four loose sumptuous soft back and side cushions. All restored and beautifully re-upholstered in deep purple KVADRAT material in 2019. The sofa was designed by Gray in 1924 for the apartment Madame Mathieu-Levy on Rue de Lota in Paris. It was regarded as one of the most sensational examples of French interior architecture of the 1920s, Eileen Gray had created the decor over a period of five years.

Condition:  

Very good vintage condition, some patina to the black lacquer armrests. Recent Kvadrat upholstery.
